How about beautiful! I love love love this book. I will go back and read the part at the end when Siddhartha kisses his old friend and shows him the true meaning of life....Very much like in the Bahagavad Gita when Krishna shows Arjuna his true form, but much more beautifully written.

This little book is amazing.
It got me through Hurricane Wilma without Power and gas for the car, as I mentioned in my last blog entry.

Oh yeah!!! his childhood friend Govinda.
My favorite character is the river boat fellow who ended up becoming Siddhartha's teacher.
I wonder if Siddhartha's character is based on Herman Hesse's own life, in some way.
